Today was a great day! We were out at Cal Expo in Sacramento doing the Dream Wedding Show that was presented by Arden Hills Resort & Spa. You can’t beat being around such top notch vendors. All of the couples were fantastic, and I am super amped for our 2010/2011 wedding seasons!

Here’s a big HUG from my daughter Ella! She melts my heart and I am so blessed by my wife and daughter! 
Tis the season to be falling in love and to pop the question! Just wanted to post a quick note to all those happily, just engagement people. CONGRATULATIONS!!! Whether you just got engaged today, or any other day, we are so excited for you. Enjoy the ride on cloud 9!

Carson & Jenn ~ E-session {Washington, DC}
My wife had some meetings back in DC, so I tagged along so I could meet up with Carson and Jenn and do an East Coast engagement session with them. We will hopefully get a chance to do a West Coast session too! This trip was just too short and I am looking forward to getting back to DC this fall. So excited to be shooting Carson & Jenn’s wedding this October! Hope you guys are staying warm!
We started our at the Love Cafe and then worked our way around the city.
I loved this red door that happens to be the entrance to their building. 
I love this next series as the metro train flies by. Shooting in the underground Washington DC Metro was a ton of fun! 
Carson & Jenn ~ Sneak Peek of E-Sesh {Washington, DC}
Had a very quick trip out to Washington to do an East Coast engagement session with Jenn and Carson! Here’s a sneak peek! More up soon, time to board my next and final flight!! Ella here we come! 
Gwen’s Second Birthday! {Santa Margarita, Ca}
For Christmas we went down to San Luis Obispo. Just before we left the Central Coast, I met up with Kerry and Gwen in an awesome small town called Santa Margarita. It’s funny how small this world can be. During the shoot, Kerry and I figured out that back in the days when I was a DJ, I did a party at her mom’s house. Good times…. and Kerry was a bridesmaid at a wedding I photographed in SLO back in May where her daughter Gwen made quite the impression (See the last two pics in this post 
). So Gwen turns TWO in just a few weeks. So if you see her around the San Luis Obispo and North County areas be sure to wish her a Happy Birthday! Happy Birthday Gwen 
Every time I would ask Gwen to smile, she would give me the smile on the right! I love kids… they do and say the funniest things…. too cute! 
Now if Gwen looked familiar it’s because she was the baby angel at Keith and Lindsey’s Wedding back in May!
David & Denise ~ Proposal! {San Jose, Ca}
I love my job and as a love junkie, I love weddings. But there is one occasion that many wedding photographers don’t get an opportunity to capture and that’s the point when the groom-to-be pops the question! David & Denise had dinner at the Plumed Horse in Saratoga, Ca where the restaurant had a very private and intimate setting for David to surprise Denise. As you’ll see, the room was tiny and if I had stuck my lens through the curtains the jig would have been up! I caught all the wonderful goodness that followed the answer of, “YES!” We spent some time at the Plumed Horse, then we went to downtown San Jose, Ca for Christmas in the Park. We got there after mid-might so they had turned out the lights. But we still had a great time! David & Denise, thanks for allowing me the opportunity to capture this special moment in your lives. I look forward to your wedding this July! Congratulations!!!

Mark & Denise ~ Wedding {South Lake Tahoe, Ca}
This was such a fun wedding! Not only did we get awesome blue skies but we also had tons of SNOW!! We were at the spectacular Edgewood at Tahoe. I want to thank the wedding party for putting up with the cold to get some awesome pics! This was the last wedding of the year and I have to say that this was the perfect ending to a year that has left me amazed and feeling super blessed! Mark & Denise, thanks for having me! Colton & Brittany ~ Couples Session {Chicago, Il}
I hooked up with Brittany and Colton when I was back in Chicago shooting BJ & Aruna’s wedding. We did a fun rainy day couples shoot in downtown Chicago. Brittany and Colton both do work with Lily’s Talent Agency which made them very comfortable in front of the camera. My favorite location we hit was the Skydeck at Sears Tower which has a glass box jetting out of the side of the building. Not for the faint of heart!
Brian & Jackie ~ Wedding {Sacramento, Ca}

BJ & Aruna ~ Wedding + {Downers Grove, Illinois + Sacramento}
Here are the wedding pictures! It was a ton of fun being in Illinois and being apart of this fantastic wedding. Totally blessed by this couple!
What you can’t tell by these pictures was that it was super COLD! They braved the icy temps and it was well worth it! 
After the honeymoon BJ and Aruna came to BJ’s home town of Sacramento for a Korean style celebration. It has been fun learning these cultural traditions as well as capturing them, enjoy!
